And really guys, I understand how insane this sounds. How do you think I felt when it happened? :P I still love my Z and I'll always love them. It seems that this is an isolated incident with my car. I searched all across the web before I posted this. My car only has 6,300 miles on it.... so there's still quite a bit of life left in it. Believe me, I have no plans on getting rid of it so long as they can identify and resolve the problem. I have faith in Nissan. They have always come through for me. |

To the original poster; good luck to you, sir. I hope your experience will not be the norm. And thank you for bringing your story to our attention.

What do you guys want pics of? His gas pedal? From my read of the original post, there was no damage to his vehicle. Or did I misread?

Don't worry about it dude. I understand the skeptics completely. I'd be saying the same stuff if I were them. Check my new member post. I'm a programmer. I make decent money. But I also still live at home Last edited by nottoohappy; 03-26-2010 at 04:02 PM. |

Ouch. Glad you're okay. You are okay, right? No injuries?

I'm golden. Not a scratch on me :P Thanks for the concern though, I genuinely appreciate it.
Tbh, the degree of the accident is laughable. I thought the damage was going to be much more substantial. Cars pretty damn tough. It banged the curbs hard as hell but I drove it just fine to the dealer. Dislodged the exhaust for sure or cracked a pipe... because it sounded beast as hell. I wish it sounded like that stock :-D Last edited by nottoohappy; 03-26-2010 at 04:09 PM. |

Were you by chance driving under any power lines? There's a theory now that what's causing Toyota's issue is interference from the high EM fields emitted by power lines.
