Default To sport or not to sport..

Okay.. im a bit lost.. I had a deal worked out on a pearl white 370Z touring with nav and the sport package.. The car just came in and it DOES NOT have the sports package... I plan on going full aftermarket with this car so i guess this is not to big of a problem since a LSD and a BBK was on my list of things to do... now do you think i should take the car? is there anything else that may be different that i am unaware of? only thing i can think of is the auto rev transmission.. which i guess isnt to big of a deal since i can heel toe anyway.. So should i look for another car or... take this one?

Front and rear BBK are ridiculous $$$$ so that alone is enough for me to justify the sport package. VLSD isn't that great but is a decent addition to the package. Don't forget the aero kit either which is mandatory IMO for the Z to look it's best. I would be upgrading rims but the rays would be a nice set to have as backup or for winter tires. In fact you could probably sell them and get back 1/3 - 1/2 of the sport package price.

I would get the sport package....

Remember if something goes wrong with your aftermarket LSD, brakes etc you will be on the hook. IMO the sport package is worth the price and would not have gotten a non sport car.

I personally will never again skip on a sport package and mod the package aftermarket unless it is a dedicated track car. I have done that twice and ended up spending twice the money if not more for something that performs no better on the street and has no warranty. Now the track, that is a different story but for a car which will spend 98% of its life toting me around on the weekend. Cant do it. But it sounds like you still have the modding bug so if thats going to make you happy, do it. I would like to see what you create.

Do the sports package so that A) You can enjoy the perks while you do your car piece by piece (unless you're planning to do it all at once) and B) because you'll have backup parts!

Definitely get the sport package unless you plan to whip everything up at once.

...and the sports package is a great deal - totaly the opposite with the Nav package which is way overpriced.... I'd hold out for the Sports Package for sure....

I know that you're an extreme modder and warranties will be void in a matter of days after purchase

i wouldn't get the sports package since you are going to change and replace everything
