exactly if I can drive normal and hit 220 now, Im gonna see some high temps soon when it hits 100+ degrees here.

Nice to see lots of replies, I'll get to each one as fast as I can. Some of these take some research so I may have to come back to some of them.

Keep in mind that this isn't so much a development thread; that's a whole other ball game. We're focusing more on parts that are released at a better cost.

New products can be developed with enough interest, but it's not a quick process and would be a topic for another thread.

For all parts it would be nice for the CF parts to surround the existing parts with a lip.

We actually offer this already, but it is a bit involved. It's a carbon overlay onto the OEM parts and can be done to practically anything that can be taken off of the car.

We must send the pieces overseas to get modified with takes about 4-6 weeks. Otherwise, the only other delay is shipping back and forth. We can use the parts from your car or order you new parts from Nissan and will even cover shipping back to you from the factory.

We choose to do it this way since it's much cleaner than a simple stick on piece. It's practically OEM finish. We'd like to get it done domestically so that it can be done much more quickly, but we haven't found anywhere with the same level of quality and cost.

Here are some examples of our GT-R overlays to see the quality:

cheaper shipping to hawaii

This may be possible if we're shipping a bulk amount. For example, if 5 guys from Hawaii want to ship their items together, it will be much cheaper than doing 5 individual shipments. Otherwise, for individual shipments, the cost to Hawaii as always been higher than most other states.

Let me know what you have in mind and I'll me see what we can do. FedEx has a special program called "Great Rates" that may make the shipment a bit more affordable.

If we can get some people together for this, we can get the price in the $1300 range per wing for the wet carbon version. The dry carbon would still be around $2700-2800 with a group deal.

Or maybe if we can get a good price on some coilovers, I vote Tein's or maybe KW's

Aeromotions offers a range of different types of wings. It's actually pretty cool how they work. You can find pictures and info on their website:
http://aeromotions.com/gallery/photos/

The wings are rather expensive because of the unique system they use, but if you have some people interested, I can set something up.

Regarding coilovers, just let me know which one you guys are interested in and I'll figure out what the group cost would be.

If we could get at minimum 5 people together that are interested in Amuse exhausts (doesn't need to be the same version: RS, Extra, R1000), I'm confident that Amuse will support you guys with better costs. I would need at least 5 solid guys though and it can be done.

I would need to talk to Amuse first as well, but if you want an idea, the R1000 would probably be around the $1900 range.

:) If you know some guys that want them, it's actually possible. I wouldn't expect anything like $5k off, but a few grand off sounds easy enough.

A group buy of K3s would be very nice.

Or even these:

370ZTUNE.com

I'd be interested to see what kind of deal we could get for those as that is one of the pieces that annoys me on my car.

I'd also be interested in a carbon/leather OEM looking steering wheel, but judging on what you said before I probably afford (well, justify :V) the price. Just throwing it out there though. I'm sure I can't be the only one on that.

Help me out, what are K3's?

Here is a link:

KW V3s -- sometimes shortened to K3s.

I should have been more specific!

Do you have a specific oil cooler in mind? Also regarding winter use, you can actually just cover the rows to block air flow (cardboard, for example) and it will mostly make the cooler useless for the colder weather. This way, the engine oil will not be getting the extra cooling from the unit and the operating temp will be normal.

A ok, I know the KW's... :)
In that case we got at least two votes for this one!

Oh and the Cobb AP might be worth a group buy, especially with the SC and Turbo's and people that are discovering they are running too lean (see other threads)

kenchan 03-26-2010 08:30 PM

someone make more CF fangs and keep them in-stock all the time.

RCZ 03-26-2010 10:44 PM

Hunter, you are a cruel cruel man posting those pictures. I think its actually illegal to post pictures of that exhaust and that recaro in the same post, let alone in immediate succession.

phelan 03-26-2010 11:01 PM

Blame Mike for that lol

i agree on the k3s!

And no on the amuse exhaust...i'm the only one crazy enough to run it! :rofl2:

Yes let's all get the Amuse exhaust, real cheap in a group buy...
That way Phelan doesn't feel so alone... :p

RCZ 03-26-2010 11:30 PM

haha yeah, I'd pay 2k for it just to see his face ;)
