So Ive been reading a few articles that Nissan will be doing the 400Z and that it will probably be a V8 and should be out at the end of the year or early 2011. Now Im not sure if its true about the time frame but Im pretty sure the 400Z is coming as its the next line to keep up with the new stang and other cars coming out with more power. A V8 would be nice for the next Z.

The one thing I dont like is the body if they go with the pic in the link.

Most likely Nissan will not put out a new Z til 2014 or 2013 as a 2014 model.

Yeap the 350Z was from 03 to 08, 5 yrs. So expect the same for the 370Z unless something dramatic happens.

thats pic not so good looking but a v8 ? i thought they could do a turbo'd Z first

It's a chopped up G37 concept picture. The Z will never look anything like that.

yea looks like someone put a G and Z together lol

and a new model usually last for about 4-5 years

Well i hopes the new "Z" will not be a 4000cc monster,road tax too high...

I would hope by 2012 to gain the edge back in power after the stang gets it next year. I saw VW and Audi with some cool looking 2 seaters too by 2012.

thats an old article before the 370Z came out, they thought it was going to go straight from 350 to 400Z.

That article is from 2006, speculating about the 2009 Z. Pic looks just like a G35 Coupe

Yea that one was and Ive seen others that are newer but nothing definate yet but they have to be testing the new version soon so we should be seeing some spy pics soon.

My question is why don't they just offer a super-charged version of the 370Z? I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that would pay the extra $$$ to get a factory version SC. I've been thinking about upgrading to the Stillen Charger but then you have to worry about voided warranty issues if something goes wrong.
