I've seen video's where people put their car on the dyno and show a view of its speedo to be like 'LOOK my (insert car) can go faster than top speed b/c of the mods i put in. yes, their mods may have made their car faster, but the biggest mod was taking out the wind resistance.

I've got faster wheels, tires, premium racing fuel. It's all a doddle really and quite comfortable/sedate - in comparison to a full-on sports car that would be ~2/3rds weight of the 370z and 550Bhp. I'm wondering if the US models have different suspension tuning and possibly gearing to give you folks the impression it's top speed is 165 and it's unstable? Just a thought. Most of the US cars I've had in 20 years of traveling over there are relatively squishy/comfy in comparison to European setups. I wonder if your Nissimo is more like our standard 370z? Just a idea. 140-150 in the Z (US) is perfectly fine, have not gone beyond that so cannot say but to go beyond those speeds you really need to be putting down some bigger numbers or much longer straights. Hope you have a tune for that premium racing fuel. What track(s) have you been on that you are topping out the Z?

And if all else fails, try this Flux Capacitor [FLUX62] - $175,000.00 : KaleCoAuto, Hard to find automotive items!
Good Luck! [/QUOTE] Can they overnight this? My mom died in October and I want to see her this weekend to ask where she put a couple of things. (then I'll put it back on the car!) RP |
