Does anyone have a perfect Z?
Hey guys, I see a lot of posts on here from people that are very protective of their Z and still get paint chips, dings, and dents. These kind of posts seem to be overwhelming sometimes. So my question is - does anyone on here have a perfect Z that actually drives it? Or is that not possible with this car?

I do not think it is possible with any car.
Road hazards, debris, natural occurrences (rain/sleet/etc.), normal wear & tear

Longer answer:
Threads like these kinda drive me up the wall. Its no possible to drive any car and keep it 100% pristine. You would have to keep the car in a big box with the air vacuumed out of it to do that. How do you find it even remotely plausible that someone can drive their car and not damage it in any way? I can't get this through my head, its a legitimate question. Short answer: Yes, my car has an invisible forcefield. Nothing can penetrate it. Not even air. I wear scuba gear when I drive. |

I drove my previous car for over 7 years with almost no damage. It had 2 scratches and no dents. The most damage was with the front end, the paint was pitted slightly because of highway driving and soft paint. I had a 1992 Maxima for 13 years, it had very little damage as well. The Z has one rock chip on the driver door, which I'm repairing, and a small dent on the right rear fender. The dent is on the edge so it is almost impossible to see. I'm considering taking the inside panels off and having it repaired. I think it is impossible to not incur some damage on a daily driver.

Mine is perfect! Because it still only exists in my mind.
The other 2 I have are in fairly good shape and have only been driven online via Grand Turismo 5 Time Trial Challenge. Oddly enough, I wrecked them a few times but can't seem to find a scratch on them so I guess I was very lucky. I don't expect my real one to stay flawless for long but I'm keeping my hopes high. |

Mine lost its perfection after I farted in it. Which was just a day after I bought it. It hasn't been the same ever since.

I do not plan on driving it in the rain. Stays in the garage with the cover on it (when Im not driving it!)
900 miles on it so far and one small rock chip in the windshield. Clear bra has been installed so hopefully none will appear on the hood. |
