I'm looking at picking up a used, base 370z. The price is really good, but the car is lacking the sport package. The Rays wheels can be picked up cheap used and the brakes aren't really that big of a deal to me; I'll just toss on some Hawk pads and go from there. Plus, I can heel-n-toe just fine, so SRM isn't much worth anything to me. The only reason I want the SP is because of the LSD.
I realized that the factory LSD is lacking, being that it is a viscous unit. So, I'm wondering: is it worth it to just pick up a base model and buy an aftermarket LSD, especially considering my notes above? It seems like a reasonable thing to do. Are there any aftermarket units available yet? |
