Zsteve 03-11-2010 09:49 PM

:happydance:or maybe they are noticing you noticing them.

SmoothZ 03-11-2010 09:52 PM

"Where are all the white women at?"

Lemers 03-11-2010 09:52 PM

No. I had some dude drive up and ask if I wanted to trade rides for the day. He was driving some old beater.

I never make eye contact..lol

CruiZe 03-11-2010 10:02 PM

lol, I get that too makes me feel like a piece of meat. I joked to my friends that I had a custom vag magnet installed, and a bro magnet, against my wishes.

steveg78 03-11-2010 11:30 PM

You know when I owned my 300zx from 98-2003 I though it was just because I was a young punk and it would not be like that this time around. I was wrong. I'm driving my Jeep on crappy days now and it's actually nice sometimes to get left alone. When I take the Z out for late night cruises I get nothing but screaming loud mustangs fishing for a race... Things never change.

kenchan 03-11-2010 11:40 PM

dood magnets. hahahaha... :D

Trips 03-11-2010 11:43 PM

Shave the peach fuzz, and grow a beard... ;)

serturbo 03-11-2010 11:54 PM

Wrong color maybe? My Black Cherry Z gets loads of great comments from the girls.

kevin.z 03-12-2010 12:20 AM

same here, i have **** magnet. lol, for some reason, i noticed girls really likes g35 coupe

Viera 03-12-2010 12:24 AM

I got more compliments from girls on my 07 altima than I do now with my Z... I just get tons of stares from guys....

/sigh

iceman21_23 03-12-2010 12:30 AM

boohoo if you bought the car to attract girls, you should have bought a Ferrari.

Pheonix 03-12-2010 12:43 AM

@ the last poster. I wonder if you are aware that your color is listed as Sold red, rather than solid. I really am not trying to be a smart-***, unlike your oh-so-friendly commentary, I just wonder if you noticed.

Chriz 03-12-2010 12:45 AM

:roflpuke2:

Vegitto-kun 03-12-2010 12:45 AM

girls here don't like ferraris

I get stares from everybody because 370Zs are extremely rare here.

no car hasn't come up to race me though

The GTR did get challenged by a M3 and a bike on the highway

both got owned

gumpy 03-12-2010 12:58 AM

yeah... about 80% of ym stares are from guys =/

guess the thing has street cred =)

Lol - so does my friends convertable Miata. I told him that both of our cars are chick magnets but for different reasons. The 370Z they want to go for a ride - the Miata they want to buy it off him so they can drive it. ;) Ah convertables....

fullmonty 03-12-2010 01:46 AM

I get more compliments from guys, and more stares from girls. The guys seem to know what it is and have a conversation with you. The girls just see what it is. Personally I don't care what gender is looking at my car. The fact that men compliment the car should tell you that you just didn't just buy yourself a chick car. Personally I couldn't care if someone compliments/stares at my car or not. I bought it for me, not for attention from them.

More like douche magnets. With warmer weather I've been getting tailgated and cut off more often. It seems to occur more while I'm in the Z (Fridays are fun days when more people mess with me than anything else).

Last weekend some dude in an old 4cy Altima sped up right behind me and nearly clip my front end from the right turning lane. I ended up behind him anyways because of traffic, and he completely ignored me while blasting his music. He was hitting at least 80mph on a 40mph zone just to pull off that stunt.

A couple of days ago a white Volvo tailgated and cut me off as I approached an exit. I ended up behind him as well. The guy continues to tailgate and cut other people ahead. He probably hit at least 80mph on a 65mph zone. On average, even at 70-75mph freeway speeds people still tailgate and cut me off, but that's not car dependent.

At least twice I'm on the left lane, and as the right lane ends either:
- I get tailgated as I approach single lane, and the driver cuts me off using the opposite lane.
- Driver keeps driving next to me until the lane ends, speeds up and cuts me off at the last minute.

When trying to merge people actually speed up next to me or past me making it difficult to merge. O_o

It's not too often, but that's what I've noticed the past few weeks.

LOL!!

Most females just gaze at it; others' jaws drop. "OH MY GOOOOD!! I LOVE YOUR CAR!!!!!!" You know, that effect.

The guys usually punch their buddies in the arm and whisper shout a quick 'DUDE!" while pointing....

:iagree: I'm with you fullmonty!! I bought the car because she's as sexy as I am and fell in love! lol I have noticed the appreciative looks, but all that does is confirm that I have most-excellent taste.

I have to disagree with you on the asian thing. :stirthepot:

I don't get many "looks" from people, oddly enough. I certainly don't need any assurance that I have a nice car... I know that. But damn, it makes you feel good when others recognize what a beauty this car is.

I did have a group of kids stop, drop their bookbags, and begin doing the Thriller dance in excitement when they saw my car. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

What bike? Mine would eat your GTR for breakfast and then spit it out at 175 mph.

rofl at the Thriller dance. Yes, the kids definitely like the Z more than any other age group. I like that, I remember being a kid and gawking at sports cars.

That's what I was thinking, although you forgot the baseball cards in the spokes.

PapoZalsa 03-12-2010 09:12 AM

If someone buys a car thinking that they are going to pick up women they have a problem... :stirthepot:

Men are the majority of the population and of course u will get more looks from them.

xiven 03-12-2010 09:13 AM

that depends on where you live
there are more women here than men

The latest reports I can find show females are 50.9% of the US population, but only 49.75% of the world population.

Guy pulled alongside me while I was waiting at a red light last week. Motioned for me to put my window down. I got concerned, thinking there was damage to my Z or something was wrong. He only wanted to tell me how beautiful my shiny red Z was.
On a more humorous note, my Z was parked in front of my office yesterday. I was in the reception room for a moment. An attractive young lady walked past the car, eyed it up, glanced over at my office, saw me, opened the front door and said, "I really love your new Corvette." I just chuckled and said "Nissan Z." She said, "Oh, whatever," smiled and left. I left it at that. Women!

romoore14 03-12-2010 09:53 AM

Get looks and pointing a lot, male and female! My wife was told by an elderly lady at the County Annex bldg. how purty the car is and to enjoy it while you can!

If someone buys car thinking that they are not going to pick up women, then they are gay.
