girls here don't like ferraris

I get stares from everybody because 370Zs are extremely rare here.

no car hasn't come up to race me though

The GTR did get challenged by a M3 and a bike on the highway

both got owned

Lol - so does my friends convertable Miata. I told him that both of our cars are chick magnets but for different reasons. The 370Z they want to go for a ride - the Miata they want to buy it off him so they can drive it. Ah convertables....

I get more compliments from guys, and more stares from girls. The guys seem to know what it is and have a conversation with you. The girls just see what it is. Personally I don't care what gender is looking at my car. The fact that men compliment the car should tell you that you just didn't just buy yourself a chick car. Personally I couldn't care if someone compliments/stares at my car or not. I bought it for me, not for attention from them.

More like douche magnets. With warmer weather I've been getting tailgated and cut off more often. It seems to occur more while I'm in the Z (Fridays are fun days when more people mess with me than anything else).

Last weekend some dude in an old 4cy Altima sped up right behind me and nearly clip my front end from the right turning lane. I ended up behind him anyways because of traffic, and he completely ignored me while blasting his music. He was hitting at least 80mph on a 40mph zone just to pull off that stunt.

A couple of days ago a white Volvo tailgated and cut me off as I approached an exit. I ended up behind him as well. The guy continues to tailgate and cut other people ahead. He probably hit at least 80mph on a 65mph zone. On average, even at 70-75mph freeway speeds people still tailgate and cut me off, but that's not car dependent.

At least twice I'm on the left lane, and as the right lane ends either:
- I get tailgated as I approach single lane, and the driver cuts me off using the opposite lane.
- Driver keeps driving next to me until the lane ends, speeds up and cuts me off at the last minute.

When trying to merge people actually speed up next to me or past me making it difficult to merge. O_o

It's not too often, but that's what I've noticed the past few weeks.

LOL!!

Most females just gaze at it; others' jaws drop. "OH MY GOOOOD!! I LOVE YOUR CAR!!!!!!" You know, that effect.

The guys usually punch their buddies in the arm and whisper shout a quick 'DUDE!" while pointing....

I'm with you fullmonty!! I bought the car because she's as sexy as I am and fell in love! lol I have noticed the appreciative looks, but all that does is confirm that I have most-excellent taste.

I don't get many "looks" from people, oddly enough. I certainly don't need any assurance that I have a nice car... I know that. But damn, it makes you feel good when others recognize what a beauty this car is.

I did have a group of kids stop, drop their bookbags, and begin doing the Thriller dance in excitement when they saw my car. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

What bike? Mine would eat your GTR for breakfast and then spit it out at 175 mph.

rofl at the Thriller dance. Yes, the kids definitely like the Z more than any other age group. I like that, I remember being a kid and gawking at sports cars.
