Very good comments. Heated mirrors and blind spot issues are my biggest grip. Fog lights would be nice.

I'm sure that Murcielago drivers are not whining about their blind spots LOL!

My two complaints have to do with the interior:
- the high beam light is obnoxious... blinding even!
- the steering wheel volume control is too small, and an up/down orientation would have made more sense than left/right

I really don't have any complaints. This 370Z has exceeded all of my expectations.

Paint is sh!t.

The only complaint I have.

Everything else has been as good or better than I expected out of a sports car.

Just one thing... Remote start! My STS has it and I love it, when it's 115 outside getting AC started and the car cooled down... Oh, so nice.

For some reason every time I down shift and step on the right pedal everything in my rearview mirror gets smaller.

Since this thread has been revived it seems and since it's 24 pages long (forgive me ahead of time). Does the 370z have any common issues that the 350z and G35 had such as:
1. oil consumption issues - I thought it was said that maybe 09 did but not anything newer...just wanted to confirm.

2. negative camber - so one goes through tires like no one's business. I drive about 18k miles a year on my G and I go through tires it seems like 16mo or 22-24k miles.

3. How is the transmission, I know my G had the transmission replaced by the power train warr since the sychros went bad...so I was wondering if the 370z had the same or similar issues with their trans.

4. did they add a telescoping steering wheel in the later years?

thanks in advance, I'm just wondering if I moved onto a 370z; would I have the same concerns as I did/have in my G35.

Just had mine replaced in a 2010 Z,, 5th gear synchro issues. The new tranny,,hmmm, the shifter sometimes vibrates visibly on a harder deceleration,,also in 5th,.. all with only 30,000 and I don't beat on the car... I use Mobil one since the breakin,,I get about 1000 miles before a qt is due,,..

Thanks for the info on the trans, sounds like it's the same trans issues as the G. Synchos seem to go bad very quickly. How is the tire wear, can I expect the same type of neg camber issues as my G? Ive just replaced out my clutch and what a difference it has made, my car is fun to drive again, but damn, I've put about 8k in 40 mo of ownership from new clutch, oil changes, 30k/60k mile services, brakes and the biggest culprit being tires(I run hankook ventrus).

I'm not complaining since the maintenance othe than tires have been minimal but with the depreciation of the vehicle, I'm beginning to think maybe a new ride will be better and I love the style of the 370z. Test drove a mustang 5.0 and it feels so disconnected from the road compared to my G so that is out -- but man can that car get up and go. LOL
