It would shed moisture just like any other part of the car. You can wax just about anything. I do it for coated wheels all the time and you just hose the brake dust off.

It works great for wheels, might not work great for glass though. Although I'm sure it would repel water it's probably not going to be perfectly clear.

Actually, wax works very well on glass, just not the front windshield as windshield wiper blades do not glide well over the wax.

I got one. Theres an edge on the end closest to the hinge on the inside that sticks out, on the door. When you're pulling your leg in to get out, if you're tall at all or wearing boots (Im in the military), its VERY easy to hit that damned edge. I foresee it wearing down fast

I'm not familiar with the C class, but the "3 series" is a broad term. Depending on 'which' 3 series you pick, there are several options that come standard. However, in the price range of the 370z.. the 370z provides A LOT more than BMW does.

I feel ya, my boots hit em really hard a few times in the first couple of weeks. Luckily my separation is coming up in a month.

Well I'm just saying the 328 for instance offered more bang for its buck compared to the c300

I've only got little things to complain about at this point:

-no defroster on the side mirrors
-auto lock doors once the car starts moving
-blind spots are worse than on the 350z
