![]() Here we go again ( ![]() ![]() ![]() Agreeing Kannibul though (not on a right/wrong basis but just necessity basis): Being a 'real' Z snow driver, I've found that starting in 1st gear is perfectly fine with snow tires. You have to be more delicate with clutch release and throttle, but starting in 2nd is by no means necessary. If you can make a car spin (both in circles and spin the rear tires for more than 2 seconds) from a dead stop in snow with VDC turned ON, you're amazingly bad at driving and have somehow defeated the granny-driver-inducing VDC.
