Question about the Z's seats for the bigger guys
I went for my first test drive the other day in a 2010 Touring Sport. The whole time I felt the seat jabbing into my back. I'm not sure if it was the bolsters or what. I haven't had a chance to go back to the dealer and look more closely at the seats themselves. All I thought of while driving was how uncomfortable it was. Anywho, I was wondering do the more husky individuals who own a Z have the same issue or not. Is it a setting I could change, ie like a lumbar adjustment knob etc. Any insight would be most appreciated, as it kind of left a sour taste in my mouth toward the Z considering I have a pretty long commute. Thanks Guys.

I know what you are describing and it is the active head restraint built in to the seat.
Looking for the picture to explain it.

If it looks like a headrest, and it feels like a headrest, it, um....shoot, how'd the rest go?

I don't remember having my head against the headrest, as I never do in the STi. Thus causing the arms to pivot into my back as I think I am grasping from the description and pic given. Just sucks, cause I had my mind made up that this is the car I was going to go for in the next few weeks. If I pulled the trigger, I'd have to order a new seat the same day as that was very uncomfortable. I'll definately go back to a dealer and sit in a different car to see if it is the same before I completely write the Z off. I seriously walked away from the test drive completely bummed. Thanks a bunch guys.
