dreams about crashing your Z
 

have any of you had any of these kind of dreams.

I had one about a week ago that I was driving down a mountain road and while going around a curve the traction just gave way and I slid sideways into a rocky mountain side cutaway.

Last night a dreamed that I was trying to leave a parking lot that had just frozen over and while I was sliding at a super slow speed I managed to avoid most of the obstacles. I couldn't just stop and finally I ran into another car with my drivers side front corner and destroyed the bumper and fender.

I'm glad they were just dreams. wonder why I'm having them now:eek:

No, but last night I had a nightmare that I traded my Z in for my old Civic, realized it was a huge mistake, then went back to the dealer to try and get my Z back (with all its mods on it) but found that they had already sold it. I was almost in tears and woke up thinking it was real... I was terrified. Then 30 seconds later I was like... OH it was a dream!

Kind of like when I was a little kid I dreamed that my parents got me a dirt bike for Christmas, so when I woke up I ran downstairs and opened the door the the garage -- no dirtbike. But the alarm went off.

Better raise your insurance premiums! Haha Jk. Feeling stressed out lately or something crazy happen in your life recently? I'm sure it's nothing. Or maybe your car is asking for a real LSD!

I had a dream one time that my car got stolen. Went into a gas station for something and had left my wallet in my car (happens IRL all the time). Went out there and there was someone digging change out of my car so I grabbed them on the back of the neck and cussed them out. Went back in to pay and all that then I come out and my car is gone. I look around, thinking I'm crazy and just parked somewhere else. I still have the fob in my pocket too. After a few minutes of that I actually started to think to myself.. "There's no way he started the car and took off." "There's no way my fob was close enough while inside for the car to start." "It was too quick for them to tow the car away." Then finally I'm actually talking to the attendant "Dude, this is a dream, I'm going to wake up and everything will be fine."

I've been taking Night Time lately to help me sleep (it's Melatonin, Lavender, and some other crap) and it gives me crazy dreams.

i havent had to dream... ive already had 2 VERY close calls.

one, dumb suv driver on celphone goes into right lane to make a right turn, but decides to make a left turn instead...about 2ft in front of my week old (at the time) Z.

two, dumb suv driver fails to yeild to traffic, pulls out right in front of me at an intersection. had to swirve into oncoming traffic to get out of the way.

think someone's testing my reflex and ability of the Z. :D hahaha

No I think you are on some serious stuff man. LSD in the past? LOL thats a funny dream.

this is so weird. I had a dream this past weekend I was at the grocery store and a woman wiped out all 3 sides of my car. (both sides and back) and in my dream I was all bummed because I would have to post about it here on this forum. LOL! So strange you posted this!!

haha wow i actually do still have like flashbacks, but I do some crazy move and save it at the last second... weird i know. :driving:

Probably means you are driving too damn fast.... But yes, I once had one that it broke away, and I went into a quarry...

Wasn't funny when it happened.... I was stressin.


I had another dream that I was at the racetrack and I was washing my car off and all the pits and dings in the front bumper had actually created holes. Suuuucccckkkkeddddddd.

I've had more than I would like to admit. I always wake up upset :roflpuke2:

i had a dream i backed into a carport support beams.. messed up the entire side...

CRAZY, last night i had a dream about my ex sending me a picture of a lion using the hood of my Z as a scrathing post and i was livid that she would even send me THAT picture to me. there was some talk about lions the day prior to the dream...must of stuck in my head and for the love of my car...

I've never dreamed about a car before I got the Z and I've had 2 dreams. First I had my car parked at an airport for some reason and when i came back to it the wheels were missing, some trim as well as the convertable top... Even though I don't drive a roadster, But its a dream its gota be a little strange. I woke up feeling all nervous and sad then realized it was only a dream. Second one was duuring a snowstorm and I parked my car somewhere because I didn't want to drive it in the snow, and I ended up searching everywhere for it and I couldn't find it. Kind of like 'Dude Wheres my Car'. Just not as funny

You must have read AK's thread about showing your Z in the snow and your mind "remembers" the pictures :) I couldn't believe the snow completely covered a few of them!

Ya I think you're right. And I know the dream about the missing wheels were from the thread about that guy who had his rims stolen. Damn this forum and the nightmares it gives me!

LOL! I had the same thing happen to me except it was a streetbike. I scrambled downstairs to admire my blue R6 waiting for me in the garage. Only to realize it was a dream...I stood in the garage by myself crying inside...

I've also had horrible dreams like that! And also that feeling in the pit of your stomach that comes with having an accident. But then I just wake up, look outside and everything is right in the world again lol

yea and that horrible sound of carbon fiber crushing...its very unpleasant.

had a dream that a rail road arm hit the top of my car cause the car in front of me did not move then i got out.. looked.. backed up to watch a train destroy my Z.. then work up and laughed.. then went back to bed then woke.. up and was in a odd mood rest of the day

There was a time period where I had car crashing dreams almost every night for over two years. I would wake up with one foot sore cuz my other foot was using it as the brake pedal. Then one day, in real life, I was lost and driving. I was looking for an onramp and I looked right through an intersection and ran a red light just as the other cars were starting to pass through. I realized what was happening just as I entered the intersection and hit the gas instead of the brakes. I have no idea how I got through the intersection without getting hit. It happened so fast and we were all so close that nobody had time to honk. After that day, I have yet to dream about crashing a car again.

I had this once before. I dreamed I had wrecked my motorcycle. But it wasn't a crazy outlandish dream at all, but more of a practical dream where I had to clean up the wreckage, wait for a trailer, bring it back to the garage, assess the damage, etc.

When I woke up, I was all bummed out and was going to my computer to start scouring eBay for some replacement parts. I really thought it was real for like 30min.

had a dream where I plowed the Z into the back of a lambo gallardo. it was not pretty. i woke up in a sweat.

Had one dream where I was driving the Z back in Missouri or Arkansas and I just kept f*cking around on this rural straight stretch and slamming the Z into barriers and sh*t. It was terrible! At the end of the dream, it was completely totaled. I woke up in a cold sweat lol.

I have a 100% inverted schedule, so I take melatonin during the day to sleep. That stuff, if you take too much (over about 3mg for me), will give you some CRAZY dreams. I have done everything from bang supermodels to kill everyone I know in those dreams. Crazy stuff.

Last night I had a dream that I parked my Z in the back of some parking lot and went into the store to buy something. Once I came out, I found that an 18 wheeler crashed into my car and destroyed it! It was also raining so the interior of my Z was soaking wet... Needless to say I was glad when I woke up.

Damn what happened?
