Flying debris?

Hey guys, with the 19's kicking up tons of pebbles and other debris, it's inevitable that the debris will eventually put chips on the wheel arches, sideskirts, wheels, etc. Has anyone found a way to prevent or curtail this? Or is it just something we are going to have to deal with?

Don't drive it?

You'll get more chips from traffic kicking up crap from their non-mudflapped vehicles than you will from your own tires...

Yeah, I considered that option, but wouldn't have to basically get the whole side of the car done for complete protection? The area that gets hit the most are the ends of the sideskirts, I guess because thye are directly facing the wheels.

if im driving it daily, i would put a strip down near the bottom of the skirts from the front wheel arch to the back.

amazingly the car does not seem to kickup rocks where it hits the front part of the quarter panel. my G even came factory installed with clearbra in that area but no need on the z....it seems.

I just found a few small chips today, it's a trade-off you have to accept when owning this car I guess.

I've found that the rubber is very sticky. But really, that's a great thing! Short of cleaning the road you drive on, I don't see a solution. :tiphat:
