Default when you wash your car, do the windows continue to get wet when you roll them down??

i took my car for a drive a little while ago, and i rolled down the window and rolled it back up and it was wet. the dealership washed the car yesterday evening before i got there, but should it still be getting the windows wet? is that normal...?

Mine does it also, just water down there and it needs to dry out.

If its cool out that could happen as it has happened to me the other day, in warmer weather that's not normal although.

Mine does it too. I'm a little concerned about corrosion inside the door since it takes so long for it to dry out...

My car does this too. It has nothing to do with the weather tho....but it will take longer to dry in the cold. I've had 6 cars and none of them did this. I hate how after the car's all nice and clean... the water streaks on the windows come back

none of my previous cars have done this after they were dry. it makes me think that the window seals aren't very effective if that much water is going down inside the door panel... unless the water is just pooling right at the seal?

Could just be holding water in the spongy part of the seal

Every car that I had does the same after washing the car even during Summer. Just don't roll the windows after washing the car for a while and have a cloth to dry it..

my thought exactly... i have never had a car do that before. seems like it might be better to let it dry with the windows down...

ugh I just spent 4 hours completley detailing my car and when I came to work and rolled up the windows theres water and water spots on them. Its kinda frustrating. I keep some Meguires quick glass cleaner and Meguires Ultra Premium quick detailer handy and when I get home at night I spray and wash off the dirt that the car kicks up since I have no splash guards

The longer you take to let the window up and down the longer it wil be there. Normally it just happens the first time you do it (roll window up and down). but this is very strange. "Can't be good holdin' moisture in the area for extended amounts of time."

happens to me all the time. seems to be pretty normal for these cars. but i haven't had it happen with any other car. for some reason the doors on this car seem to hold more moisture than usual.
