question about push button start...
sorry if this is a dumb question, but i just bought my Z last night and the manual wasn't really clear on this. when you go to start the car (6MT) and push the button to "ON", do you have to hold the start button while the engine is turning over? or can you just push the button again and release, and the car will catch automatically? on my wife's '09 escape, to start the car you just turn the key over really quick and release and it starts itself.

That's Nissan's fix for Unintended Acceleration.

The brake has to be pressed in order for it to shut down while moving, so as long as it isnt, you're fine.

On an open road at about 15MPH I tested it and it will not turn off unless I hold the button longer. My friend's does the same thing and won't shut off with a quick press until she's "creeping". So, I turn mine off and sing, "So I creep, yeah...just keep it on the down low..." and then it shuts off. Sorry, couldn't resist Just my two cents...
