RPM Blip on Upshift?

Hey Guys,

Sorry if there is already a thread about this, but I searched the forums and couldn't find anything related to this...

So I was driving home from work today with the SRM turned off, accelerated pretty hard up to 4k in 2nd gear (still in the break-in period, so I wanted to have a little fun while staying within break-in guidelines), let off the gas and pushed in the clutch quickly and the RPMs blipped up to 4.5K - 4.7K before I shifted into 3rd. I thought maybe I had accidentally left my foot on the gas, but tried it again and the same thing happened.

Has anyone else experienced this?
