Front End Bras for the the 370Z?
I know many of you like the “clear” front end bras on your vehicles…and I know I’m a bit “old school” but I like vinyl front end bras for my vehicles. I like both the “look” and I like the protection they afford.
I admit that they are a hassle sometimes to be sure, especially if your vehicle is a daily driver (because of rain, etc.) but overall, I have saved the front end of my vehicles from both bugs and some fairly “serious” minor damage because of having a bra on the front…it’s amazing how much junk is flying around the roads, coming off other vehicles, etc. Anyway, I have been buying my bras from directly from Colgan for many years now (they invented the car bra if I’m not mistaken) and unfortunately, they do not yet have one for the 370Z. So…I’m wondering if anyone here knows of a manufacturer who does have one for the 370Z or might have some other suggestions?

No they don't, at least they don't if you take care of them properly.
I've been using them since 1973 (and mostly on black cars) and never had a problem with them. Where most people run into trouble is when they get wet and don't remove them (allow them to "dry" on the car) or they allow derbies (leaves, etc) to get between the backing and the finish and, again, just leave them on the car. That said, I don't recommend going cheep such as the offerings you'll find at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and most local auto parts stores...a poor quality bra can definitely cause problems.

I think Nissan will sell some for the Z, they did for the G37's....and it looked really ugly...it only cover the bumper....it looked like a replacement unpainted bumper b/c it fits exactly on top of it and not on the fenders a bit or anything like that

I haven't liked any of the ones offered through Nissan itself; at lest not so far...but maybe they'll get it right this time.

Look guys...
I like them. I like (generally) how my vehicles have looked with them on. I've used them on almost every "good" vehicle I've had since 1973. I know they can be a PITA. I've never had a problem with them harming my finish...and they've saved me from a lot of front-end damage over the years - in fact, when I get rid of my vehicles the front ends look like I just drove it off the showroom floor. So...I appreciate the "help" but I really wasn't looking for opinions about vinyl front end bras or why you guys don't like them/think I shouldn't use them, ok!!!
