Hmm was expecting a little more but Great 1st dyno. The Pearl White looks superb. Thanks for the video. This is the first 370Z dyno video in the US! Good job.

GTM posted 189RWHP (or something like that). This is DEFINITELY a spill down hill.
How many pulls did you do? How high is the elevation in your area?

Due to all the differences based on altitude, humidity, temperature etc, software .........dyno device, I tend to look at HP and Torque changes between OEM baseline and improvements (bolt ons etc) and not really the absolute numbers.
Although, the absolute numbers can always be used as a "brag" factor if they are good (note the signature block) ![]()

Yes, someone else made close to 290whp on a Dynojet. For anyone not familiar with the Dyno Dynamics, we normally see a 12.5% increase in hp number going from our dyno to a Dynojet. If you use that same 12.5% on our 258whp... 258 * 1.125 = 290
From our blog, 2003 Nonrevup 350Z: 215whp 2006 Revup 350z: 234whp 2009 VQ35HR 370Z: 258whp |

Where are your numbers for an HR engine (07-08)? If I remember right, my stock 07 HR 6mt put down 20 HP more than my wife's modded 06 rev-up 6mt - same dyno, same day. So bottom line here is that the 370 makes only 4 more HP than the HR 350? Of course your dynos are not done on the same day, so maybe that's it. Maybe the 370 has more drivetrain loss.. ??
