Standard over Nismo?

I think that is what infuence me to go with the NISMO, but really it just felt like the right choice for me.

i like the simple look of the 370 without the spoiler but i love the nismo wheels and the break vents in the rear. and the performance plus with the sport package is a good deal i have the base but i would like to have either the sport of the nismo but all the looks have their own flair

Default Nismo extra 20hp

Hello new to the 370 page and looking to buy my 370 in the next month. Was wondering what was added to the nismo to get the extra 20hp? Also any advice anyone might have as far as options or whatever before I purchase my 370.

Thanks and love this forum cant wait to get my Z

I got the base with automatic and find it to be plenty car for my needs. Everyone's priorities are different but if you're on a budget, the base Z can be more than sufficient. Cloth seats are nicely done, beautiful wheels and plenty of power equipment are included. As I said, it's all a matter of priorities.

i was going to go nismo. I liked the body kit so much it was worth the extra 6k to me, then i fell in love with the non nismo. Luckily i was able to find a 2200 mile used 2009 fully loaded sport touring for 6k off invoice and the rest is history.

that's why nissan makes more standard 370z than nismo 370z

I don't like the NISMO for looks. Love the wheels but the car reminds me of the old Plymouth Superbirds of Nascar!

I like the rear but the front kills me. If you can put the rear nismo on the standard Z it would look hot.

i originally loved the nismo Aero kit when i first saw it...I definitely didn't buy it expecting any major performance upgrades. However, the other day, I overheard one of my friend's neighbors saying "who would put a wing on a 350z?". I guess the fact that he didn't know it was a 370 means he doesn't follow nissan too closely.

I was happy to spent the extra money to have something a little different, I just hope the majority of people don't think I just tacked on a huge wing after buying the car.

Unfortunately there are a lot of non-car enthusiasts in the world today, so thats going to happen more often than not. Every girl I meet's initial reaction is "Ooh, you drive a 350Z!", makes me wanna stab a baby every time...
