I'll be waiting until next year for the convertible. An additional reason for doing this is I think the selection of colours Nissan have given us is poor, and I'm hoping for something a little more inspired by the time the soft-top is out.

Try this 10% off MSRP (-$3,600'ish) then either 1.95% finance or another $2,500 rebate. If you type to enough dealers computer sale you might even try 9.2% + dealer advertising 2.2% + floor plan cost $175(.5%) + $2,500 (6.9%) rebate AND 1.9% finance. Total % off on350Z = 18.8% ( I have never got more the 17.5% on any car myself). ------------------- But that will be a lot of dealers to get close. . |

I had an S2000 years ago. That was my first, and last, soft-top convertible. Some a-hole flipped his lit cigarette butt out his window, and it landed on my top, got wedged, and melted a hole through the top. Not the car's fault, obviously, but it did serve to highlight one of the added risks of owning a soft-top convertible.

A Targa top is the best option ... I think it would of been a better way to go for Nissan than the soft top.
I also had a S2000 for 6 years and was always concerned about the top getting torn, even though it never happened I always feared leaving it parked alone and damage happening from some Idiot or the Sun drying out the top. But loved it while driving. I like the C6 option for the Targa or the 370Z coupe as my next summer car. |
