I've had the Z about a month or so now. I think I've figured out what I like so much about this car. I've driven a lot of cars over the years, and I can usually push a car to it's limits. But, with this car, I can't (yet) find the limits of this car. It's a better car than I am a driver.

I haven't driven the GT-R, but the reviews say that what's disappointing about it is that it's not a challenging car. One reviewer said that he would buy the Z first. I think I see what they're talking about now - this car is just plain fun to drive. It's a real driver's car.

I'm all the way into this car. The end.

When you look at a GT-R it really is a poor exterior design...for a sports car it is in plain words extremely boring looking. So it is understandable why someone would want a Z over a GT-R. Its easy to see that Nissan spent 80% of the design time on the GT-R engine and 15% of its design time on the car's outer shell design.
