Essentially, I'd suggest that the first thing you need to do is find a dealer that will participate in the VPP program on a 370z...since you already know that a particular dealer has the car you are looking for, obviously I would start with that dealer but if he won't participate I'm sure you can find one who will. Beyond that, once the exact car is picked out, the dealer sells you the vehicle at the predetermined actual invoice price of the vehicle less the 4.3% discount (there are some things that can be added to that but they are limited to things like taxes, dealer installed options that were not on the vehicle when it left the factory, etc). It's a no-haggle deal at a discount that, except in very unusual circumstances, will be a better deal than you can ever hope to negotiate on your own...the dealer makes a predetermined fee as his "profit" for handling the sale and you get a good deal!
