Gas Pump...Arrow....Right.....
I have a few vehicles so i get mixed up on what side the gas tank is on. My girlfriend and i were running some errands this weekend and i asked her what side the gas tank was on and she showed me on the gauge where there is a gas pump and an arrow indicating that the tank is on the right.....well to make a short story long..it was new to me and will make my life easier, some may already know this but for those who don't i just wanted to share.

Interesting, my H2 does NOT have an arrow, just the standard gas pump looking thing..which is probably why I never thought of it before! The Z does have the arrow!

And of course, my cars are on opposite sides, which makes me have to do a double take and make sure I remember which one I'm in when I pull into the gas station. H2--drivers side Z--Passenger side

I guess they figure that the H2 will spend so much time at the gas station that it will just become engrained in the owner's mind which side the fuel door is on.

USA production models have them on the left. Non-USA production models have them on the right. To save costs, vehicles that are both USA and Non-USA market, have them on the right, since the majority of the world is right-hand drive. Look at any US "domestic" vehicle that's been sold in non-USA markets, I bet it's on the left. |
