Both my '03 Tibby GT V6 and '03 350Z didn't have any kind of traction control (the Tib didn't even have ABS!) but I haven't found the VDC on the 370Z to be all that annoying control-wise. I do hate when it jerks me around in 1st/2nd as has been mentioned earlier, but I also need new rear tires :P I've felt it kick in plenty of times and as long as you don't fight it it does it's job well. I've done track events and races and such and consider myself a competent driver, but I don't mind having some backup. I only turn it off when I fool around in parking lots or am at the track.
4-5 years ago it'd prob stay off all the time |

Normally off. I'm also a firm believer in the Laws of Physics. On or off won't help you if you go too far over the edge.

Always @ OFF for me. To me the VDC sensors were too sensible for my personal taste and driving style.

Its always on. I see no real reason for me to turn it off. If I wanted to play around its one thing, but trying trying to drive to somewhere I don't need the action

I always turn it off....wet, dry, light driving, pushing.....though...even when you turn it off its still active....even off i don't like it...it still jumps in...i wish i could completely disable it permanantly.

link to the thread?.. not because I don't trust what you're saying but because i do see my slip light come on sometimes when i have VDC OFF, so i'm wondering if it does or doesn't kick in. .... oo and i usually keep mine on during the winter months and always off in the summer, except in wet conditions.

slip light should come on whenever one wheel is spinning faster than the others, regardless of whether vdc is on or off, i think.
