it gets very annoying when your in 1st 2nd and sometime 3rd and you floor it above 4k rpms and it slows you down. I turn it off most of the time when i turn the car on its habit now. When it rains, it stays on and stay under 60mph.

Most of the accidents reported has been with the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) turn off. Especially if they don't have the experience to control the car.

stays on. the VDC might be a little too much when being a nanny, but thats better than the alternative of squealing my tires and causing a scene unintentionally or getting myself into a situation that involves spinning out.

around here in the city, i'll just keep it safe.

Depends on my mood, no rain and I feel like opening the car up it is off. If I am just driving down the road stuck in traffic it stays on, also if it is raining.

its amazing how it works though, it damn near steers the car back straight for you, kinda weird.

Well, I have driven many 2007+ jeep cherokees and its scary as hell when you're cornering too fast and it kicks in. A few people have wrecked them because of that. They tend to try and over correct the sudden decrease in speed. Not a good feeling but at least it works well.

oh my bad lol I thought you meant like every car. Yeah that makes sense. The Z is a very sticky car and when it breaks loose on accident its scary as hell, as most cars are.

Does the VDC being off make the car more inclined to loose grip at higher speeds, like excessively? I am curious to feel the difference between it being on and off, but I dare not try on public roads, and I am often tempted to turn it off. This is my first RWD with this kind of power. Low power RWD cars are lots of fun and hardly dangerous, but I am hesitant to test pushing the car a bit with the VDC off. I suppose the best way to learn is to turn it off and feel the car out at lower speeds, and then gradually working upward.
