Those aren't the standard Texas plates. When you order custom plates, you have the option to order one of about 100 designs, colors, logos, charities and more (for an added fee, of course). It cost me $500, but the color was perfect with the car, and I just had to get that vanity plate when I knew it was available. With my interests and the car, it was just too perfect for me.

Spaceballs Reference?? :icon08:

Most people think the plate is "NISMO Z" just by looking at it. If a cop writes me a ticket to that plate. Some one else will be getting it in the mail. :D If he writes me a ticket on "N1SMO Z". That plate is not taken yet. So still no ticket. :D

How do you tell the difference between O and 0 on the plate? :D 99% of the people don't know. :D 0 looks the same as O on the plate when used with letters.

I know lol but unless the cop is a real idiot, I doubt you're gonna get off.

If anything, after he does search through:

NISMO Z
NISM0 Z
N1SMO Z
N1SM0 Z

He's gonna be pissed and write you up just for wasting his time...

If the cop see's the plate, but doesn't pull me over. Writes down NISMO Z. Remember that I have NISMO on the rear of the Z in 2 different places. The plate frame and the factory lettering. His mind might see NISMO Z, not N1SM0 Z. He mails me the ticket. Good chance that some one else might get it. All of this is coming from a 56yr old man.

If you what to find out what plates are availabe in Pa. Here's the link to find out.

I had a problem with this, actually. When I was granted my plate for "370HAWK" I got a letter that spelled it like "37OHAWK" which obviously looks dumb. I was afraid my plate would look like that, so I called up the DMV. They said that their system treats "O" and "0" exactly the same and doesn't differentiate between them, and it appears as the numerical "0" on the plate. So my plate is technically "37OHAWK" but it appears as "370HAWK" on the plate.

In Pa. There is a differance between O and 0. As you can see what is taken, and what is availabe.

NISMO Z - Taken
NISM0 Z - Availabe
N1SMO Z - Availabe
N1SM0 Z - Taken

This one is still available in CA, don't know if it would be approved.
Would anyone dare to have it? Would it be more trouble than it is worth?

Thinking about BA-Z-NGA

Zoren 370 05-05-2012 10:13 PM

How about B-Z-AG NGA:tup:

Zoren 370 05-05-2012 10:32 PM

Anyone please...

Is it legal to place a europlate behind my official FL plate. U know how the europlate is longer that some numbers and letters would stick out your regular plate?

dmhenderson 05-07-2012 12:36 PM

Nope
