Anyone blow out their speakers?
I was driving today and smelt a pretty bad smell when I was listening to music. I had the volume at about 26, then turned down the volume to see if there was any noise, since the smell was really bad. When I went to turn up the volume, I noticed my sound was about 1/4 as loud and the bass was non-existent. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm assuming the bad smell was burning silicon of the power amplifier. Do you guys think this would be covered under warranty?

26, those speakers were "screaming" bro. I think 20 or 22 is good for me.

26? You sure it wasn't hearing damage? I don't think I've had it above 20

I keep my volume at 12. Funny, I actually like to stand a chance of hearing emergency vehicles as they approach.

Well it only goes up to 30, so you were damn near topping it out. Did you have the 3-band EQ adjusted in any way?
