Without even bothering with the speed comparison, much better interior on the z for one, and people won't mistake it for a $12k car for another.

You would be going from a FWD to a RWD, 260 hp to 330 hp, unreliable to reliable, domestic to import.... nuff said.

The Cobolt SS surprised a lot of people in many ways, it was fast, utilizing Saabs turbo technology calling it an Eco-Tech, the handling was 1st class for front wheel drive, and the price for one 25K wasn't that bad. The cons cheap interior, FWD, and I hear its in the top ten list of highest cars to insure. I wouldn't mind trying one out, but it would be an everyday driver for me.

as you can see, the general consensus is: there are no cons, it'll be a definite upgrade

just go take a test drive and you can figure it out for yourself.

I will say the same again, this is a 370Z forum and most people will tell you go for the Z.

However, go ahead and road test the car and see if that is your cup of tea.

yeah you can't really come on a Z forum and ask. Just go test drive and see, pretty sure you will love it though.

another thing to consider if you're intending to make that trade is the negative equity from the cobalt...don't freak out if the dealership shows you $10k for your trade-in...Cobalt is one of the worst cars in value retention...

Try to sell your cobalt on craigslist. I put a fake ad on craiglist to test it out and got 20 local people wanting to see the car within a few hours.

Going to a 370Z would be a major upgrade.

Not true. The girls I work with all told me my car was cute, except for the two that call it the panty dropper.

I'd wager he could get 11-12 for a Cobalt SS. I pulled in 10k for my G5 and from what I understand the average is around 8-9k.
