From detailing website:
"Jap paint is known to be thinner, chips do not really have much to do with paint thickness. German paint is on average thicker than jap but they chip just as easy. Chipping is a function of many things and something that just happens as a result of driving. Dealer nor mauf have anything to do with chips as it is not a defect of the paint unless many people have the same issue. This is not common but has been seen in some Nissan paints and was brought to Nissan as a class action case." Like to know the status of this litigation. |
