Nissan isn't a premium brand but the 370Z is one of the more expensive cars they sale. You can end up getting into Infiniti territory configuring an altima or maxima depending on what options you add on. I'm looking to get a 2009 370Z automatic with all the bells and whistles and I'm expecting to spend around $40,000 and probably more if I opt for extended warranty, or any service plans like oil changes, etc...

I'm talking $40k for a fully loaded one, all the options (nav/sport) maybe some accessories like the lighted door sills, etc... I like getting my cars fully loaded because I don't really drive my cars that hard anymore (although I still like sporty cars) and I enjoy all of the technology going into cars nowadays (hard drive/back up cameras,etc...). The base model is just under $30k so if that's what you want you don't have to worry about spending anymore than that.

If any dealer still think that can do markups in this economy, they are completely out of their mind. Most car dealer are trying to keep open let alone sell cars. The crap that Chevy dealers pulled with the ZR1 with 70k markup, is some of the small reason that lead to them bagging for the bailout.
