Its pretty hard to compare colours in pictures due to lighting, camera set up, etc... The GTR looks pretty close...

zfast1 posted some pictures of the Blue/Persimion combo....

Def. Not the same color

Supergoji 01-22-2009 08:38 AM

to those of you who disagree with me.

A: the Z is under florescent lighting making the color appear lighter then it really is.

B: on the japanese Site, Nissan lists both Colors and codes as the same. LeMans Blue.

First off great find on the MB with permision. This will still be the combo i will more than likely go with even if it is more metallic than LSB. As for the r33 and Z i think the Z in all the pictures still has a little more metallic pop over the r33, even though in that last set it looked very close. I really think it all comes down to lighting the camera used and so forth like someone already stated. I know at least with LSB the same camera will never capture the color the same way twice, there is always a slight difference from shoot to shoot. It seems that the MB and the color on the r33 are the same as well.

I'd have to see the Persimion in person - it looks too washed out in those pics for me to go for it as my first pick. I've seen the Frost with the Daytona Blue and it looks very sharp so I'm leaning that way..... tough choice without seeing it first hand....

I love my MB w persimmon. The blue really does change depending on the lighting, its kinda cool. On brighter days its a lighter brighter blue & on darker days or at night it looks real deep. MB>LSB.

Correct me if im wrong but I believe I have heard the MB called Japanese racing blue, no??

I have an MB and a friend has a M3 Laguna Seca Blue. The M3 color is darker and deeper.

The MB is more skinny and lighter color to me.

Damn, you are correcto...

sonic370 05-13-2011 08:56 PM

really hard to compare with different lighting.....
most guys on this site know what they want and what they don't like.
i doubt if many settled for anything less than the color they wanted first...

I bought the last 09 MB on the lot at the time.... not disappointed at all....
imho there is about 2 to 3 colors that will turn heads and get comments on
and the MB is one of them. the other two are up for debate.............:stirthepot::stirthepot:
