offical fuel economy vs you

Hey guys

firstly, i love my car, puts a smile on my everytime. At first i didn't like the sound of it but now i wouldn't change it...

But there is one cause of pain... the fuel bill. In australia we have a department that gives cars an official fuel economy rating. For the 370z manual it's 10.5L per 100km.

every other car i've driven i've managed to beat the rating in fringe peak hour traffic (15 mins before mega peak hour traffic hits). With the 370z, i cannot beat the official rating?

anyone else having trouble beating the fuel rating?

side note: dad traded his R36 for a Q5 with 2L petrol turbo. I'd happily put that engine in the 370z... power/torque to fuel economy of that engine is insane.
