They essentially won that war and now the Vietnamese people are living like all of us decedent capitalists, buying iPods and zooming around in Z's. Vietnam

Guys,

As a Vietnam Veteran (67-68) it's time to let it go.................! Its been over 35 years since the war. 35 years after WWII was 1980 and we had been buying Z's for 10 years by that time and those were the guys that gave us "December 7th 1941"............................

Yes, about those wheels and that Z. I'm going out on a limb and saying that the Z was stolen and shipped there. I cannot believe that a Z would ever be bought or sold there since that car couldn't survive the monsoons or potholes or substandard fuel at the stations. Just a guess....

Soldiers do what they Commanders tell them to do, leave the political side to the politics.

As a soldier we cannot hold a groch against others that was following order too!

The scars of War last for ever and is difficult to forget, but comments like yours make it harder to heel. :shakes head: :shakes head:

It's hard to believe those wheels came stock! I think it was a special order that the dealer added for a customer

No it's not. believe it or not, OEM wheels on most cars sold in vietnam look different from the US.

if so I wonder why?

TacoZ 02-08-2010 10:37 PM

Sometimes they have family members here buy the car and ship it back there to be sold at 3 or 4 times the amount because people over there will pay for it. Like i said it's more about showing off than anything. You can't really drive over there with all the traffic and bad roads. So I'm thinking someone bought it here put some rims on it and sent it back there to be sold. Again I'm just guessing.
