Not Planning to Track - Is Sports Package Worth It?

Personally i'd pass on it, 18's still look great (it's all we get in Australia until now), the tyres are cheaper to replace and you get better ride compliance on

Personally i'd pass on it,

18's still look great (it's all we get in Australia until now), the tyres are cheaper to replace and you get better ride compliance on the slightly thicker rubber.

lsd - unless you are planning it consistently spear it out of corners (which you shouldn't do on public roads) lsd's not needed.

SRM - i've turned mine off cause i prefer to match it myself. Part of the joy of manual cars.

I do like the look of the spoiler but, is it an expensive option on its own?

The sports package Akebono calipers aren't of great quality and haven't proven to substantially out perform their single piston siblings in any performance test. Both models share the same rotors. The fixed mount sport calipers do have a slightly better pedal feel than the base sliding calipers.
