That been said, check out the last April Auto Issue of CR; you'll find the Z to be rated as "Much Better Than Average", 'cause the engine, AT, cooling system, electrical system, brakes, chassis, etc., are great. The MTs are a bit clunky, yet reliable. Just a few nuisances, that's all.
