Default Acknowledging your fellow Zs

So the other day I saw a silver 370z in Santa Monica, and he flashed his lights at me in a moment of Z comeraderie.

Totally cool, especially because I don't see many Zs in Los Angeles.

I know when I rode a motorcycle, I'd feel compelled to give a head nod or a hand gesture when I saw a fellow rider on the street.

So I'm wondering if you 'tip your cap' when you see other Zs on the road?

And if you do, does that courtesy extend to all Zs, or just 370s?

i usually give a wave, thumbs up, or head nod...i'll give it to other Z's, doesn't matter what model.

i've received the same from 350's, 370's and even some G35's/37's....

I would do, but I've never seen any other 370Zs on the road since buying mine.

I only see 350s and they're too common and not even real Zs...

A GT-R driver gave me a wave recently. Other than that, I've only seen one other 370 on the road in the past year.

I blipped my high beams at a 350 this morning. He was all over it with an immediate high beam blip back along with a wave.

I thought we were giving each other the finger?

We are giving the finger. I haven't seen a 370 to do it yet

Finally had the first person in a Z (350) wave at me, I promptly returned the wave, and I will continue to wave at any Z I see in close proximity.

Yes, I flash the lights, but have only seen 1 other 370Z.

Where I am from, mostly Benz's, Porsches, and Audi's (although many Lexus's). Some people have got an attitude with Japanese sports cars. Very few Z's here.

My friends daughter said she wouldn't get caught dead in a Honda or Nissan etc.. She HAD to have her daddy buy her an Audi. What a snob

It's easy to get stuck in the German car fetish. However, I'm more enamored with my Z than any Audi I've ever owned. The 'rawness' of the car is really fun. I just wish the dealership/service experiences were better. So far, Nissan does a piss-poor customer service job. The idea of taking the car in for a service gives me goose bumps.

I've always thrown the upside down "V" to fellow riders(cruisers AND sportbikes) when I'm on my bike but it feels pretty awkward acknowledging somebody else while I'm in my Z.

LOL. I try to acknowledge other drivers. However, when I was younger I gave someone a thumbs up to another fellow car enthusiast, and a cop pulled me over because he imagined that I was attempting to race him
