Attention fellow toy car collectors
 

Just a FYI to all my fellow toy car collectors, just announced for 2010 hot wheels new models is the 370z and G37. Not yet released to stores but keep your eyes open next time you are by the toy isle as you never know when they might show up. Looking to add to my 500+ Z toy collection

What does that have to do with anything.

Different people have different hobbies. If one started collecting at young age, by the time they are 40 years old, they will have a significant collection of toy cars. Op DID say "Attention all toy car collectors" ;)

Totally agree, I will actually pick one up for my desk at work if they come out with one in my colour!

If you look at serious car collectors (for example at Barret Jackson) the very unique and exciting cars all have models with the car. Just a neat thing to add to your collection!

Big article in the March Car and driver on Hot Wheels collecting...It's big $$$ these days!

I have a Hot Wheels 350Z and several 1/18 scales ! I also have a 350 that laser cut in glass or plastic(Not sure what it's made of).

We actually have a bunch of model super gt cars that are lying around the shop! The Tamiya models that are there make some of the best looking model cars available.

I have always had diecasts of my cars.. and I am excited to hear this...

Hope that at least they will be 1/24 scale. I have about 25 diecast in 1/18 scale at the house and about 8 diecast 1/24 scale at work including a 240Z in Red in the box.

Our daughter went to a birthday party a few years back. I drove her over to this guy's house. VERY nice house (he is a custom house builder). I have a few pictures of his garage that was completely custom-built around Hot Wheels theme. He estimated his somewhere around $25,000 - $30,000, I believe. The cabinet handles were custom made using hotwheels. The packs on the walls are held in place by built-in slots.

^^Amazing. I cant wait till it comes out. Might as well pick one up for me even though i dont collect toy cars. Im gonna put it on my dashboard. Make my interior look sexier.
