I just snapped a photo in front of the garage, cropped it, and captioned it.

Unless you mean the little red Z...got that from eBay. :D

I live in Japan, I'm going to Yodo-bashi today to see what they've got for 370's. :)

Anyone interested in the Transformer Z? I am going to Japan for business next month and I can bring some back. I will sell them here for my cost + shipping and paypal. I don't need to make a profit, just doing the forum members a favor. Let me know if you're interested and I can see what I can do, no promises but I'll do my best :)

dropped1 03-10-2010 07:47 AM

I finally went out and picked up some models at Yodobashi in Yokohama...Got the Transformer Z, Tomica #55 1/57 scale, and the Playcast 1/32 scale.

I'm guessing the Playcast is a newer model...searched the forum and haven't seen any posts yet. It's got working lights...I'll post some pics of em all together later on. For now, pics I found of the Playcast.

Sweet, I live in Uraga, Kanagawa prefecture. I'm about an hour drive from Sagamihara.:driving: You should try to "schedule" a business trip out here around the next Tokyo Auto Salon...its not too far from Sagamihara. :happydance:

Was interested, too, so decided to do a search on just what the deal was and it looks like the 370Z (transformer) only comes in "silver" (if I read this right):

I picked up one last night that is black...they only had two. I didn't see any other colors.

I'd LOVE to get my hands on that 1/32 Playcast model. Wondering if anyone cares to work out a deal...

Slynky 03-10-2010 08:42 PM

Oh, and for the record, I'm SO tired of looking for the new Hot Wheels 370Z  AND, to top it off, I think (hope not) it's yellow. But I haven't been able to find it.

dropped1 03-10-2010 08:49 PM

Odds are the yellow "hot wheels" model your seeing is a Japanese Tomica model...I'll PM you Slynky.

Red370 03-10-2010 08:52 PM

Yeah, that would be nice! When is the next Auto salon? Last year I just missed out on the Tokyo Auto Show, I had to fly back just a few days before the show started

I have seen them in Black and Dark gray or in Nissan speak: Platinum Graphite. I;ll do my best to get a few of each.

It is yellow which I like since my Z is yellow. But don't worry, hotwheels undoubtably will release in the next few months some different colors for the 370z. Just have to be patient. Also, the reason you haven't found it is that it's only been out about a week.

Thanks. I've seen some of the other 2010 models and assumed it would be out already, too.

Yellow... good for you :)

Have to wait and see if another color comes out.

Buy Sell Hot Wheels Redlines Matchbox NASCAR Johnny Lightning

Thats WAY too much for the tomica model. They go for around $3 here in Japan.

Has anyone here got the Ebbro 1:43 scale yet? Are Ebbro any good?

I'd love to see AutoArt make the 370Z. They probably will because they have the 350Z. Lots of detail in their 1:18 scale models.

Endgame 03-20-2010 10:21 AM

I asked AA and they told me they had no plans to do the 370Z. I hope Kyosho does...

dad 03-20-2010 12:48 PM

Maisto's are coming out some time soon.

I asked AA too and they also told me they have no plans to produce the 370Z in the future. Disappointing! You would think they would considering they did the 350Z.

oooh those look nice, when are they coming out?

Slynky 03-20-2010 08:17 PM

Wonder what the Maistos cost...

Slynky 03-23-2010 07:02 AM

Well, I've added to my collection a bit ! Much thanks to DROPPED1 for buying, packaging, and making a trip to the post office to mail me the Playcast and Tomica model. I paid for the shipping and threw some extra in for his trouble and still came out ahead of the game.

BTW, the Playcast model (pics above) with the lights comes with batteries installed and it also makes a little "vvrroomm vvrroomm" sound when the lights come one. LOL But, both models are very nice. Now, I have 5 Z's. The real one and 4 "toys". Also, the little Tomy Z's doors open. I don't think many Hot Wheels cars do that. It's very good quality.

Thanks again, DROPPED1 !

Depending on where you buy it $20-40. Maistos are the cheap 1:18 model makers. If you want quality you have to go with autoart or kyosho. Also notice on the maisto that the car has base wheels on it. Not saying I won't get a maisto but I will wait to see if Kyosho decides to do a 370z as we already know AA is not going to.
