**** Definitely go for the Sport Package. Even a non-tracking daily driver will benefit from the pieces. I think you'd really get a kick out of the manual transmission option, too. Perhaps you could consider deleting the automatic to save a bit for the Sport Package and embrace the fun of the manual. I think you'd like it. Most people consider the manual on this car to be the way it really comes to life. With the Sport Package you get Synchro-rev, too, which is truly brilliant.

2.) Is there an option for remote start I am missing?

****Not available OEM. Maybe it's because I live in a warm climate, but I don't really get why anyone would want this option. One thing to note: This car is a bit high strung and seems to run hotter than other cars I've owned. I don't think warm-up time will be a big problem. My heater already starts blowing warm air about two blocks from my home, with only minimal warm-up in 35 degree weather.

3.) how does the push button start work?

****Just keep the fob in your pocket and you can start the car, unlock it, etc. with just the touch of a button.

4.) Is there any general information I should know about?

**** Shopping for a base model with Sport Package, you should still be able to find some '09s. Grab one -- you will get a great deal (below invoice pricing and sub-4% financing without really haggling at all). It is a great time to buy.

Don't be dissuaded by the exhaust note in the first 1000 miles. It drops lower and growls meaner right at 900-1000 miles, almost like clockwork.

There are niggling fixes like the hatch release that are detailed on this forum. Read up, with an open mind and you will increase your enjoyment.

5.) How is nissans reliablility? (I keep my cars a long time... this will last me 15-20 years if I had to guess... will it be a money pit or if I take care of it (i will) will it return the favor?)

**** This is my first Nissan, but people in my family have had a few that ran well into the six-figure mileage range with no, or minimal problems. I've owned 2 BMWs, 3 Hondas, 2 Mazdas, 2 Toyotas, a Pontiac, a Suzuki, a Mitsubishi and a Ford. I can honestly say that the Z feels like the best built car I've ever owned. I'm expecting great things.

Thanks in advance.
You're welcome.
