how many miles for the 1st oil change?

1200 miles on the factory oil, then switching it for Royal Purple. I might even do it at 500 miles to get a majority of the metal shavings out. That's

What is so great about royal purple? Why not use synthetic oil?

I'm against changing to synthetic so soon. Reason being that the regular oil will help get everything worn and seated quicker than synthetic will. Regular oil is better for the break-in period.

Are you saying after the 1200 mile break in period, change the factory oil with regular oil, then after when it hits is 3750 mile mark change it to royal blue?
