Many, many years ago a friend of mine received a speeding ticket based on the cops 'visual'. He went to court and asked the judge if he could question the cop on his acute ability to estimate speed. Judge said yes. My friend looked at the cop, raised his arm and dropped it as fast as he could. He looked at the cop and asked "How fast was that?" The cop was dumbfounded and the judge sent my friend on his way!
