Adapting rear spoilers

Hi folks - I would like to put a spoiler on the back of my roadster. I don't like any of the ones I have found specifically for the roadster so I'm going to buy one for the hardtop and try to adapt it to fit.

Any thoughts on whether this is possible? Is the boot profile of the roadster similar to the rear panel on the hardtop?

It is not, but try the roadster forum for more info.
