At least most hurricanes are here and gone with minimal impact. So some of the weeks festivities could still proceed.

Supposed experts have been way off on their counts the last handful of years and, we're having a very wet winter which typically equals a slow hurricane season. Speaking from 47 years of experience in Florida; I'll go with it'll be a miracle if one affects the event.

FWIW, hurricanes don't hit Tampa directly and usually just gets a rain/wind event. The last time a hurricane made a direct hit to Tampa was in 1921, and even then, it was more so Tarpon Springs.
