Having had a Evo b4 the Z there are a lot of things I miss about the evo. But since you've never had a turbo AWD one, you'll never know what you're missing out on.. so go ahead and get the Z. If you want an Evo get a Evo 9.. you dont want the 3550lb X. If you want something thats AWD and turbo get a 996 911 turbo for 36k and call it a day.. thats what I might do

If I had a Z, it would go with me everywhere I went. Nothing wrong with using a car as.... well, a car.

So if the Evo is great for spped and performance then why dont they put that into a sports car body? Ie. 2 door and cool looking to go with the speed? I personally hate 4 doors except as a family car. Ive always wondered about this.

Why criticize a 4 door car when it has the same capabilities as a 2 door..but with extra room?

I just think a 2 door performer would sell better than a 4 door one, or maybe do both?

I dont know the TTS is 3200 lbs and does 0 60 in 4.9 stock and thats with extra weight of DSG, Quattro, turbo. Chipped and aftermarket exhaust its around 4.6 secs. I had a 2.0T FWD TT, DSG and with aftermarket exhaust and chip it did 0 60 in 5.5 secs. Not bad numbers for a sports car. Audi used aluminum framing to help keep weight down.

The Z is my daily driver and the only car I have here with me in TX right now so its driven all the time. 12K miles on it now. Which reminds me, my fuel filter maintenace light came on. We change our fuel filter at 12k miles?

I agree. I had to drive the Z for 2wks straight because my Benz was in the shop. I couldn't put the car cover on it because it was dirty and it even got snow on it. The Z won't be driven again until March.

It's the style. The Evo and the WRX have always been about AWD, 4 doors and a turbo. Also I think the Evo X looks pretty mean, tbh. I think the 370 is sexier from a car standpoint, but the Evo X is meaner looking. It just looks pissed off.
