I've said this many times and will say it again. Nissan should have taken a hiatus after the 370Z, going back to the drawing board, and start from scratch. Timing would have sense, esp. with COVID19 coming about.
This is what happened between the 300ZX and 350Z (minus the pandemic obviously), and the 350Z was a huge success, while also building anticipation amongst the fans/buyers.
