It's not a bad render but.....this platform is 11yrs old. It was FANTASTIC when it first came out and was very competitive against all comers - yet...when Mustang and Camaros started the HP wars - it just wasn't as competitive in a straight line; throw in the fact that more and more cars are coming with turbos - and simple tunes are making those Civics and GTIs faster in a straight line. I know I know - HP and 0-60 don't mean everything but....it would have been nice if the Z would have ended with having a VR30 engine thrown in it. I know I am constantly on the fence about - 'do I move onto a new platform or....turbo/SC the Z'
Don't get me wrong - i LOVE my car - it's a really nice balance of performance out of the box and I always catch myself checking it out when I am pumping gas or looking back when I park it - just a beautiful car; its just sad that Civic Si's and GTIs are basically beating it from stop light to stop light - and lets not even discuss Mustangs haha. Anyway - in the end - love my Z - can't justify spending $55k for a new Z and even $60ish for a Nismo - soo...I enjoy what I have and carry on.
Optimiser, ed_423 and ZoomZ like this.
