V1 Nismo Bumper Broke at High Speed
I’ve noticed a couple times then when accelerating over 100mph I get this weird front end shake. It goes away after I slow down, but the other day I wasn’t so lucky. I thought I blew my motor or something suspension related decided to go into retirement. After I pulled over I noticed my bumper split on the bottom support at the tabs. I have a Z1 aluminum undershoud and have my fender liners on so I’m confused as to how the air created enough turbulence to cause a blow out.
I am curious if anyone has had this issue as I cannot find anything. Any recommendations on how to reinforce the bumper for more spirited driving? |
