Final 2 Ugrades
5 Attachment(s)
Hello all. A few months ago, I posted a thread about my 6 year ownership of my black 2017 Nissan 370Z AT.
http://http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-general-discussions/138679-6-year-update-2017-370z-ownership.html The last 2 upgrades that I wanted to get were:
I bought the Morimoto Tail Lights in April. I already had the head lights installed more than 2 years ago (a necessary upgrade). So the tail lights complete the visual upgrade and it looks incredible on my black Z. I bought the 13.6 Tesla screen from NiftyCity last month, May 2023. I installed it myself because it was a relatively easy task. One thing surprised me during removal of the OEM system and added 2-3 hours to the process: Allen screws. There were about 10 Philips screws and only 2 Allen screws. I had to visit 2 different shops until I found the correct screw driver. These 2 Allen screws are used for the white A/C control unit found at the bottom of the main OEM radio unit. This Tesla screen is incredible. Using Google Maps navigation on it is WOW! This is the only update I wanted for the interior of my 370Z. From now on, it's maintenance mode for the foreseeable future. |
Nice.
There's always room to do more, but it's nice to set goals of satisfaction and actually be done. I set limitations on my build, then went past them, enjoyed it, had things happen that kinda reset the process. On one hand it sucked financially, on the other hand it let me revisit trying to set that limit again. I can live with not necessarily picking up where I last left off. Enjoy the car. The infotainment screen sounds like it makes the DD traffic so much better. |
